TUG Sunglow & Tangerine Tornado Leopard Geckos

I have seen the grail of Leopard Geckos (to me) and they are Deep Reddish & Orange.
They are produced by The Urban Gecko and one is called a Sunglow and the other a Tangerine Tornado.
The Sunglow is solid orange red with a almost full red tail.
The Tangerine Tornado is the same but the stark white belly line & the Carrot tail witrh black & white spots is riviting!

I want to breed Orange & Red Leopard Geckos. They are everything that I imagined and more in a lizard. Stunning really. I will try to link some pictures of them so you too can stare in awe at their beauty.

These are the ones.

Albino Strain Mystery - SOLVED! + New Albino!

I was informed by the experts at Gecko Forums that my female Albino was indeed a Tremper Albino Leopard Gecko plus I found a sweet site that explains the three strains eye color!
I received a call that someone had a Leopard Gecko they could no longer care for so I rushed to the rescue and found a two year old Female Albino Leopard Gecko waiting for me. When I picked her up the first thing I noticed was how pink here eyes were!

Now with number one Albino when you look at her eyes they look like a light bronze in normal light (the flash made them appear lighter then that) but number two has light pink eyes no matter what light you look at them in!

I am told that she is a Bells Albino.

67 grams, two years old & freindly as a kitten.

Life is good!

Sunshine Leopard Gecko

Well I am going to start breeding Leopard Geckos as a hobby. I am starting with a small group that consist of some of my favorite Morps. Geckos I had NO idea that existed until last month.

First let me tell you that I have bred Leopard Geckos before, way back in 1993-1995.
These were the normal Leopard Geckos. No exotics. I think the most exciting Leo was a striped one. I just called it aberrant. I gave my two breeding pairs to a friend who loved & cared for them as I got more & more into photography.

The last I remember on the Leopard Gecko front was Ray from Strictly Reptiles telling me of
baby albinos for sale for $ 1,000.00 plus!! I remember thinking that it must be a one off and I never looked at or saw another Leopard Gecko again until October of 2009 and what I saw made I eyeballs fall out of my head! ORANGE geckos with white tails and black polka dots....... was this real? No way! The name alone.... Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail... are you kidding me!?

Then I saw the prices for some of these alien looking Leos.... 35.00 - 40.00 WHAT!!??
I paid 75+ for normals 15 years ago and now before me were acid looking Leos for half that? I bought a trio on the spot! They were mine! What if this guy had a rare Leo & did not know it?

Well I soon learned via google that the Leopard Gecko world already knew about my "rare" Leo
and that there are so many different Morphs that my head still hurts trying to grasp them all.
It seems that just as I got out of breeding Leos thing really, really, took off! There was some mad, mad, money changing hands & some people made tens of thousands of dollars a year breeding, cross breeding, line breeding these beautiful Leopard Geckos! I missed out.

So now I have some of these new fangled Leopard Geckos and I am going to have some fun.

Here's what I have.
A trio of Tremper Sunglows
A trio of Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tails
A trio of Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tails
One Female Albino
One Male High Yellow Normal
One Male Tangerine Enigma

OK.... Let's see what I can do before I confuse myself any further.
